On Saturday, October 5th, 2024, Ambassador Gen Cheikh Wade, alongside distinguished professors from the UK, USA, and Africa, as well as ambassadors accredited to London, gathered with the Mayor of Cambridge, Mr. Baiju Thittala, for a conference in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
The event focused on the theme “The African Structural Revolution: Leapfrogging the Five Key Sectors of the New African Single Market. “What is essential for leapfrogging these sectors? The conference delved into topics such as science & technology, new business models, human capital (including the African Diaspora), and finance.
